Beef Steak with Sauce
Ingredients
4 pieces of beef steak or beef tenderloin
1 tomato
1 teaspoon pepper paste
1 teaspoon tomato paste
5 cups boiled water
2 cloves of garlic
8 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1 level teaspoon black pepper
Description
First, marinate the meat in a mixture of olive oil and salt in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Prepare your pan for the searing process. Place a cast iron or ceramic pan on the stove and turn the heat to high until smoke starts to rise.
Place the steaks directly into the pan without adding extra oil. You should hear a sizzling sound. Do not move the meat; let it sear for about 2 minutes.
Flip the steaks and sear the other side for another 2 minutes. This process seals the juices inside to keep the meat tender.
In a separate bowl, mix the tomato paste, pepper paste, grated tomato, crushed garlic, boiled water, and spices.
Pour this sauce over the seared steaks in the pan.
Turn the heat to the lowest setting and cook for approximately 35-40 minutes until the meat is tender.
Enjoy your meal!
