Beef Steak with Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of beef steak or beef tenderloin
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 teaspoon pepper paste
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 5 cups boiled water
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 level teaspoon black pepper
  • Description

  • First, marinate the meat in a mixture of olive oil and salt in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Prepare your pan for the searing process. Place a cast iron or ceramic pan on the stove and turn the heat to high until smoke starts to rise.
  • Place the steaks directly into the pan without adding extra oil. You should hear a sizzling sound. Do not move the meat; let it sear for about 2 minutes.
  • Flip the steaks and sear the other side for another 2 minutes. This process seals the juices inside to keep the meat tender.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the tomato paste, pepper paste, grated tomato, crushed garlic, boiled water, and spices.
  • Pour this sauce over the seared steaks in the pan.
  • Turn the heat to the lowest setting and cook for approximately 35-40 minutes until the meat is tender.
  • Enjoy your meal!
